Dear friends, I have bought 15 Blendfeel aromas, mixed them at 10%, steeped for 7 days, maybe too short, but I tried a few as follows.
Virginia RAW. Honey, yellow straw / grass, sweetness, some spicyness maybe ... love it, needs more time.
Burley RAW. Dry, wood, very faint needs more time.
Before next, I'm crazy in love with Toscanello clasics, I smoke on all special occasions
Kentucky Reserve. The absolute for me, I even feel the smell of the cardboard pack they come in, I can't believe how precise it is, I just can't stop vaping, I literally burned my tongue .. My favorite by far and much better for my taste than Black Note (too simple if I can put it this way) or Tabacheria (kinda sweet, I have the macerate, not the extract)
Hell's Key. Like the Reserve, good but includes a little burned taste, (might be the USA Kentucky in the mix), a Toscanello already lit. I like it but I prefer the Reserve.
Tuscan Blend. I had high expectations and wondering how would be possible to get closer to the cigars than Reserve ... not quite. I get a faint smell of sulfur like in the natural mountain mineral springs you drink for various health benefits. (Might be the Latakia in it, I'm not a big fun of it)
I know all of them need more time to maturate, it's clear with the blonde ones.
And now my big question:
Perique. I only get cocoa. Very clear cocoa and a little sweetness !!! To the point I am wondering if it was contaminated ... or wrong label on the bottle and plastic tube.
I know 7 days might be too short of a maturation time, but ... is it normal? Does Perique of BF has cocoa hints and the rest of the flavor will evolve in time? Black Note Perique has nothing to do with cocoa, not even a hint of it ...(BN is too weak in flavor for my taste)
Please give me your opinions and advice.
Is it only a maturation problem? Is it a wrong bottle?
